In this lyrical tale, a robot quietly becomes sentient while working as part of a clean-up crew at a theme park, in the process, becoming more connected with the planet than his human overseers. Much subtle humor in this work; many will recognize the slogans of the clean-up crew from corporate jobs. Lots of reasons to keep turning the pages. And the story touches on so many other issues; the environment, friendship, courage. I could go on. Just read it.
